 Cyclische accu’s verschillen van standaard accu's op verschillende manieren. De loden platen zijn gemaakt van een andere samenstelling en de roosters zijn anders gevormd dan die bij een standaard loodaccu. Hierdoor zijn cyclische accu’s speciaal geschikt voor vele malen intensief ontladen en weer opladen. De functionele levensduur van een cyclische accu is te berekenen door het aantal ontladingen versus de diepte van de ontlading.

Accu constructie van cyclische accu’s

Door de toevoeging van speciale metalen zijn cyclische accu’s een kwalitatieve oplossing voor elektrisch aangedreven toepassingen. Cyclische accu’s hebben een verbeterde hechting tussen de platen en de pasta, waardoor ze beter bestemd zijn voor semitractie toepassingen als een standaard loodaccu.

Wat is de levensduur van een cyclische accu?

Vision cyclische accu’s bieden een uitzonderlijk goede functionele levensduur met meer dan 1.200 cycli bij 30% DoD (DoD – Depth Of Discharge). Echter, hoe dieper de ontlading, hoe minder het aantal te behalen cycli van de accu. Het is daarom het beste om een accu nooit meer dan 70% te ontladen voor behoud van een lange levensduur.
